Maya is a writer, director, dancer, strategist and final year student at the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS).
She’s directed and produced award-winning films, lived and studied abroad in Japan and Norway, consulted for industry partners across public and private sectors, and volunteered in leadership roles within extracurricular communities.
As a writer/director, her music film ‘Dink: Deconstructed’ was officially selected for Australia’s prestigious, St Kilda Film Festival (2026) and her writing has been featured by Red Bull, Vertigo Magazine and UTS Think Global. She's drawn towards experimental and creative non-fiction genres, often creating from personal experience as a multicultural kid (House of Ma) and as a dancer of over 18 years (Dink: Deconstructed).
As a consultant/strategist, she's researched and presented solutions surrounding the future of coffee, AI, news literacy, and disaster relief for industry partners including; Breville, Accenture, and The Daily Aus.
Maya works at the intersection of creativity, community, and innovation.
She’s seeking work in strategic brand management, marketing, content creation, media production and/or customer experience management.
Her creative services are available on a freelance basis.
